Event Instructions

This year we will NOT mark the trail, just like we did in 2016 we will run in little pace groups. We had a lot of fun back then and it was so great for getting to know each other a little better.  Instead of blindly following the white flour arrows it had become a little game of not getting lost and finding the way out. Let's do this again!

Members will get a map with some detailed description via email in the week prior of the run. These four BBT sections will take place every second Sunday, with an easier Sunday in between so we can recover. Carpool will be mandatory, meeting at the finish point, carpooling to the start. Then one or two cars will be asigned to take the morning drivers back to their cars, it has always worked in the past, I'm sure it will once again this year.

New Runners

Please get to the trail head at least 15 minutes earlier if you are new to the club and/or have not run the trail before.

Course Description

This will be your favorite leg of all. After reaching Sandstone Peak--the highest peak at 3,111 ft. of the Santa Monica Mountains, we traverse through the Chamberlain Rock. Finally, we finish the best views of the glimmering Pacific Ocean below the Ray Miller Trail.
MEETING LOCATION: We are parking and meeting at the La Jolla Valley canyon trailhead on PCH, and then we will caravan at 6:30 AM to the start at the Mishe Mockwa trailhead in as few possible cars as possible.
