Chris has done it again! He found another steep but oh so fun trail. A trail with two names, “The Rabbit Hole” and “Bay Watch”, just pick your poison, LOL.

Starting & finishing point is at Los Liones, at the first parking lot with bathrooms. We go up a steep trail straight to Parker Mesa Overlook. From there you can loop back via the Overlook trail into the Los Liones Canyon, which will give you a nice 5 mile run with +1,700 ft of elevation. Most of us will probably make it a little longer and take the Overlook trail towards Trippet Ranch (bathrooms & water) and turn around there, making it a total of 11 miles with +2,700 ft elevation gain. If this is not enough, from Trippet are many other extra miles options.
