11.4 miles with +2,400 ft elevation gain

This run has a lot of vert to start (“Hogback” trail is more powerhiking than running), followed by some fun, flat dirt, a quick stop behind the Hollywood sign and a trip out to the Wisdom Tree (a little tiny bit of scrambling in there). You then make your way back the same way you went out to the tree and retrace a little bit to pass by the Griffith Observatory and down another fun trail called the “Boy Scout” trail to end back at the car.

We are parking at the “Greek Theatre Parking F” and will meet across the street at the trailhead.
