10.5 miles with +1,900 ft of elevation gain

This beautiful Ray Miller Trail from La Jolla Canyon is a favorite start and finishing point for us, today it’s a 10 mile lollipop loop.  After ascending on the gentle Ray Miller trail we make our way towards the ocean and take the single-track of Scenic Trail that cruises us down to Sycamore Canyon while seeing the gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean.  Then we go back inland and ascend via the Fireline Trail back to the Overlook fire road.  Now, there is only one bit left–that piece of heaven down the Ray Miller Trail to home.
