SATURDAY CLUB RUN – 6 AM START

Newton Canyon from the Kanan Backbone Trail, it’s 2.5 miles until we reach Zuma Ridge Motorway.
There we go left and stay on the fire road for a short distance until we reach the single track again on our right.
From there we stay on this blissful trail until we reach Encinal road, a total of about 5 miles before you reach the gate. There you can turn around or you can cross the road, cross the big parking lot and keep going on the Backbone Trail for as long you’d like before you decide to turn around and head back to the cars on Kanan.

There is NO WATER anywhere on this route, so bring plenty.
In case of emergency: you can get water at the fire station on Encinal, a short walk from where you cross the road.
